Fostering the Triple Bottom Line
Summary
The triple bottom line addresses three aspects: the social, environmental, and financial. As opposed to traditional accounting structures which only put faith in profits as a metric for success, the triple bottom line addresses all of these areas as equally important. It suggests that organizations that are creating the most value are also maximizing the triple bottom line.
