The housing plan is based on the findings of previous housing studies and revitalization plans, a snapshot of the existing conditions using the most current data available, an in-depth community engagement effort, and an understanding of the trends that drive market demand. Taken together, these resources provide the framework for Alexandria's strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and challenges, and are the basis for the recommendations outlined within this resiliency plan.
