Corporate Information Transparency Index


The Corporate Information Transparency Index was borne out of the public's desire to know more about the souring and production practices of commonplace brands. CITI is a quantitative evaluation of 147 brands’ performance, based on five themes and 10 criteria. The index looks at many industries, from IT to breweries, and is intended for use by big brands, who will then push their suppliers toward greater environmental compliance. It is also designed for customers who want a better method of evaluating the environmental impacts of the products they purchase.
