Promoting a Green Supply Chain

Summary

The Green Choice Alliance (GCA) is a coalition of NGO organizations developed by the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs. The goal the GCA is to promote a global green supply chain by pushing large corporations to concentrate on procurement and the environmental performance of their suppliers. The other side of the GCA equation deals with consumers. Marketing initiatives connect GCA products with consumers who are willing to pay competitive prices for goods that are produced with best environmental practices.
